Rhiannon is a freelance illustrator based in Melbourne. She specialises in animals, flowers and general whimsy. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Editing she went on to get a Diploma of Illustration.
Her choice of animals, as a main part of her work, is both from an absolute love of all things fauna, and a belief that they are a great way to portray characters and emotions that anyone can identify with and connect to.
Some of her previous commissions include: detailed drawings for Koko Black and Yarra Valley Water; pictures for vendor stories in The Big Issue; and a picture book with Scholastic Australia called ‘Baby Elephant Walk’.
